In the words of Sister Solange, I got a lot to be mad about.
I think a lot of single women want to rush to get married because they believe too many things they see on social media. They watch too many romantic comedies, post too many #relationshipgoals memes and listen to too much R&B. I know this because I see ya’lls statuses, I hear ya’lls conversations. (I’m generalizing here, and I’m also a cynic, so…)
That being said, let me warn ya’ll single ladies: STOP.
“My life is completely different from what I thought it would be right now.”
Because everybody has a story to share.
I was under the assumption that by 30, I was going to have my life together. But, nah.
As the cliché goes, you live and you learn — and, sometimes, the best way to learn is through other people’s experiences. So, if you’re a small business owner or entrepreneur in training, keep in mind these insights I’ve gleaned after working through the first try as a real entrepreneur.
